Resolution Copper Donates $285,000 to United Food Bank to Address Rising Food Insecurity in Arizona
Resolution Copper has announced a donation of $285,000 to the United Food Bank, a Mesa-based nonprofit organization, to support food security efforts in Arizona. This multi-year agreement, extending through December 2028, aims to bolster food assistance programs across a 19,000-square-mile service area that includes parts of Maricopa, Pinal, and Gila counties, as well as Southern Navajo and Apache Counties. The donation comes at a time of record demand for food assistance, driven by economic instability and rising costs. United Food Bank President and CEO Jason Reed emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening the organization's ability to meet increasing demand and respond to emergencies. Resolution Copper President and General Manager Vicky Peacey highlighted the company's commitment to supporting food security, particularly in the Copper Corridor, which includes several tribal communities.
