Georgia Voters 50+ Focus on Affordability, Social Security, and Health Care in 2026
A recent AARP survey reveals that voters aged 50 and older in Georgia are highly motivated to participate in the 2026 elections, with 88% rating their motivation to vote as a 10 out of 10. Economic concerns, particularly rising prices and affordability, are the primary issues for these voters. The survey indicates that among voters 50+, the top concerns include groceries, health care, gasoline, and housing costs. Social Security and Medicare are also significant issues, with 84% of older voters rating Social Security as extremely important. The survey highlights the importance of candidates addressing these issues to gain support from this demographic.
