Oklahoma High School Principal Tackles Gunman, Prevents Potential Tragedy
In a dramatic incident at Pauls Valley High School in Oklahoma, Principal Kirk Moore tackled an active shooter, Victor Hawkins, who entered the school and fired shots. The event occurred on April 7, when Hawkins, a former student, walked into the school and began shooting. Principal Moore courageously charged at Hawkins, managing to disarm him with the help of another staff member. During the altercation, Moore was shot in the leg but has since been released from the hospital. Hawkins was arrested at the scene and now faces multiple charges, including two counts of pointing a firearm, one count of shooting with intent to kill, and two counts of unlawful carrying.
