Man's Stunt on Los Angeles Sixth Street Bridge Causes Traffic Disruption
A man caused significant traffic disruption in downtown Los Angeles by climbing the Sixth Street Bridge and refusing to come down for over three hours. The incident began in the morning when the man, described as shirtless and erratic, was seen pacing on one of the bridge's arches. This led to the closure of the bridge from the 101 Freeway to Mateo Street. The Los Angeles Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene, attempting to coax the man down using a ladder, which he shook and later removed. Eventually, the man descended from the bridge and was taken into custody by the police. The incident drew attention from onlookers and caused traffic delays in the area.
