President Trump Involves Tulsi Gabbard in FBI Raid on Georgia Election Office

The raid took place at the Fulton County clerk's office, where FBI agents executed a search warrant. Gabbard, who oversees the U.S.'s foreign intelligence collection, facilitated a phone call from Trump to the FBI agents involved. She stated that her presence was under her authority to coordinate intelligence related to election security. During her visit to the FBI's Atlanta office, Gabbard thanked the agents for their professionalism and facilitated a brief call for Trump to express his gratitude. However, her involvement has raised concerns among top Democratic intelligence committee members, who questioned the appropriateness of her participation in a domestic law enforcement operation, given her foreign intelligence responsibilities.
