Family of Iranian Nobel Laureate Narges Mohammadi Fears for Her Life in Prison
The family of Narges Mohammadi, an Iranian Nobel laureate and human rights activist, is expressing grave concerns for her health as she remains imprisoned in Iran. Mohammadi, who has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, has experienced a significant health decline, including a suspected heart attack and severe weight loss. Despite her critical condition, she is being denied adequate medical care in Zanjan central prison. Her family and legal team are advocating for a medical suspension of her sentence to allow for necessary treatment.
