Academic Nathan Cofnas Suspended by Ghent University Following Plagiarism Allegations Against Jason Arday
Nathan Cofnas, an academic who accused former Cambridge professor Jason Arday of plagiarism, has been suspended by Ghent University. Arday resigned from his role at the University of Cambridge earlier this month after Cofnas's allegations surfaced. Arday, who became Cambridge’s youngest black professor in 2023, was found dead in Battersea, south London, on Friday. Ghent University confirmed Cofnas's suspension, stating that a preliminary disciplinary investigation has been launched.
