Kenmore Air Seaplane Crashes in Puget Sound, All 11 Aboard Survive
A seaplane operated by Kenmore Air, carrying 10 passengers and a pilot, crashed and caught fire in the Puget Sound area north of Seattle. The incident occurred on Thursday evening near Sucia Island in Shallow Bay. Despite the crash, all 11 individuals on board survived, although some sustained injuries ranging from head injuries to broken bones and lacerations. One person was reported to be in critical condition. The U.S. Coast Guard and local emergency personnel responded promptly, rescuing the passengers from the water. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the crash, with the plane expected to be recovered for further examination. Kenmore Air, known as the largest seaplane airline in the U.S., has stated its full cooperation with the investigation.
