President Kagame Advocates for African Participation in Global Space Economy at Paris Summit
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda recently participated in the International Space Summit in Paris, where he underscored the critical need for African nations to be fully involved in the rapidly expanding space economy. He highlighted that Africa aims to contribute to science, research, and global decision-making, not merely act as a consumer of space capabilities. The summit, co-hosted by France and Germany, gathered nearly 120 foreign delegations and approximately 2,000 participants, including heads of state, space agency officials, scientists, and private-sector representatives.
