Tragic Boating Accident at Captree State Park Results in Fatality
A 58-year-old man died after his boat capsized while attempting to launch it at Captree State Park in New York. The West Islip Fire Department rescued the man, who was then transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation revealed that the man's 16-foot Boston Whaler struck the docks multiple times before capsizing.
