President Donald Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro following her decision to drop charges against former Olympian David Hearn, who was accused of damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. During a meeting in the Oval Office, described as 'contentious' by sources, Pirro defended her decision by presenting evidence that the damage was due to flawed installation by a contractor, not vandalism. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, whose department oversees the national parks, was also present and was accused by Pirro of misleading the president about the case. Despite the heated exchange, President Trump has not made a final decision regarding Pirro's future in her role.
