In the Alabama Senate race, Representative Barry Moore, endorsed by President Trump, is trailing behind fellow Republican Jared Hudson according to a new poll. The Quantus Insights survey indicates Hudson leading Moore by 9 points, with Hudson at 36% and Moore at 27%. The poll also shows a significant portion of undecided voters at 18%. This race is part of a broader set of Republican primaries that are seen as a test of Trump's influence within the party. The seat is open as Senator Tommy Tuberville is running for governor. The possibility of a runoff is high, as Alabama primaries require a candidate to secure more than 50% of the vote to avoid one. If no candidate achieves this, the top two will proceed to a runoff election.
