Ukraine Launches Extensive Drone Attack on Moscow, Injuring Civilians and Damaging Infrastructure
Ukraine launched over 600 drones towards Moscow overnight, marking one of its largest long-range attacks in the ongoing conflict, according to data analyzed by ABC News. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that at least 637 drones were directed at the Russian capital from Monday night into Tuesday morning, with Russian air defenses shooting down at least 197 over the capital region. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have downed a total of 791 Ukrainian craft overnight. Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow Region, stated that at least three people, including a 10-year-old girl, were injured in the attacks. Damage was reported to residential properties in three districts east of Moscow, as well as to a shopping center, a local government building, and a residential building in Kolomna.
