Three Dead, 45 Injured in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Amidst Russian Shelling
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have intensified shelling and aerial attacks across the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine, resulting in three fatalities and 45 injuries. In the Kherson region, two people were killed and 20 injured, including two children, due to enemy aviation, drone terror, and artillery shelling. Critical, transport, and social infrastructure, along with residential areas, sustained damage, including four multi-story buildings and seven private homes. An administrative building, a cell tower, a farm building, and a gas pipeline were also hit. Meanwhile, in the Zaporizhzhia region, one person died and 25 were wounded following 886 strikes on 54 settlements. These attacks involved 25 airstrikes, 673 drone attacks (primarily FPV drones), two MLRS shellings, and 186 artillery strikes. Numerous reports of damaged homes, vehicles, and infrastructure have been received from both regions.
