The World Resources Institute (WRI) is offering a hybrid working model for its Fundraising Specialist position within the Ocean Program. This role, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, requires the specialist to be in the office for 8 days per month, with the remaining time allowing for flexible working hours. The position is focused on developing and implementing fundraising strategies to mobilize resources for WRI Indonesia's Ocean Program, which aims to transform Indonesia's economy towards a sustainable, blue economy model by 2045. The program addresses critical issues such as the degradation of marine and coastal ecosystems, the impact on Indigenous People and Local Communities, and the integration of ocean resource management with climate change initiatives. The Fundraising Specialist will identify funding landscapes, develop proposals, and engage with philanthropies, development donors, and multilateral development banks.
