Pope Leo XIV to Undertake Historic Visit to France in September
Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to make an Apostolic Journey to France from September 25 to 28, marking the first official papal state visit to the country in 18 years. The visit comes in response to invitations from the French Head of State, ecclesiastical authorities, and the Director-General of UNESCO. During the visit, Pope Leo XIV will visit the UNESCO headquarters. This trip follows a series of meetings between Pope Leo and French President Emmanuel Macron, highlighting the ongoing Vatican-France connections.
