Texas Cold Front Brings Cooler Nights to Panhandle
A cold front is making its way through Texas, bringing a taste of fall to parts of the state. The most significant changes are expected in the Panhandle and parts of North Texas, where daytime highs could drop into the 70s and 80s °F (21-27 °C). Nighttime temperatures in these areas are forecasted to fall into the 50s and 60s °F (10-20 °C), creating a more autumn-like feel. However, much of southern Texas, including cities like San Antonio and Houston, will remain under summer-like conditions with highs in the 90s °F (32-37 °C) and high humidity. While some areas may experience brief rain or cloud cover, these changes are not expected to bring sustained cooler weather to the southern parts of the state.
