Undersea Power Cable Rerouted to Preserve Dobby's Memorial in Wales
A $580 million undersea power cable project between the UK and Ireland has been rerouted to avoid disturbing a beach memorial dedicated to Dobby the house-elf from the 'Harry Potter' series. The decision was made after fans expressed concerns about the cable's original path through the memorial site. The project, known as the Greenlink interconnector, aims to enhance renewable energy sharing between the two countries.
