Rantoul/PBL High School Golf Team Prepares for Competitive Season

Rantoul/PBL High School's golf team is gearing up for a promising fall season under the leadership of head coach Zach Thorson. The team, which includes a mix of students from Paxton-Buckley-Loda and Rantoul, is looking forward to a competitive year. The roster features experienced seniors like Eli Donaldson, Johnny Rodeen, and Christian Duvall, who helped the team reach the IHSA Class 2A sectional round last year. The team finished third at the Coal City Regional and 12th in the Champaign Centennial Sectional. Coach Thorson is optimistic about the upcoming season, noting the team's willingness to learn and improve. The boys' team will participate in several tournaments, including the Urbana Tiger Kick Off Classic and the Eagle Kickoff. The girls' team, led by juniors Grace Mullins and Ava Masco, will start with smaller competitions to build experience.
