Atharva Khisti won the Open Men's Singles title at the Paddle Pulse Open, an Indian Pickleball Association (IPA)-sanctioned PWR 200 event, in Pune on September
13. Atharva defeated Yash Gaikwad in the final to add the singles crown to the Open Men’s Doubles title he won earlier in the tournament with Sahil Gujrathi. The singles triumph capped a strong campaign for Atharva, who navigated the knockout stages with confidence before overcoming Gaikwad in the title clash. On his way to the final, Atharva defeated Aadya 15-5, while Gaikwad secured his place in the summit clash with a 15-6 win over Adarsh. Atharva and Sahil had earlier clinched the Open Men’s Doubles title after defeating Yash Gaikwad and Tejas Sangar 3-1 in the final. The Open Men’s Singles victory therefore gave Atharva his second title of the Paddle Pulse Open, underlining his dominance across both singles and doubles. The Paddle Pulse Open, being held from September 11 to 13 at Paddle Pulse in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, features competition across multiple categories under the IPA’s PWR calendar.
