Arjun Kumar and Niranjan Gaikwad won the Intermediate Men's Doubles title at the Paddle Pulse Open, an Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) PWR 200 event,
on September 13 in Pune. Arjun and Niranjan defeated Aadit Palresha and Tejas Gaikwad 15-9 in the final to win the title. The winners maintained their composure through the knockout stages after finishing second in Pool B behind Aniket Shinde and Bhushan Baviskar following their opening-match loss to Aditya Bhandari and Rohit Mulchandani. However, they overcame the setback and amped up their game throughout the knockout rounds. In the semifinal, they beat Adarsh Gopal and Rohan Devdhar 15-11 and booked their place in the title clash. Aadit and Tejas also advanced to the final after finishing second in Pool A behind Adarsh and Rohan. They then defeated Aniket Shinde and Bhushan Baviskar 15-8 in the semifinals. Despite entering the knockout stage as runners-up in their respective pools, both pairs showed resilience to progress to the final. However, Arjun and Niranjan raised their level when it mattered most, controlling the contest to secure the Intermediate Men's Doubles crown. Aadit and Tejas struggled to match the intensity of their opponents in the final as Arjun and Niranjan stayed firmly in control. The victory capped a consistent campaign for Arjun and Niranjan, who negotiated the knockout rounds successfully after their second-place finish in Pool B. With the Intermediate Men's Doubles title decided, the Paddle Pulse Open reached another key milestone on its concluding day in Pune.
