India had its most productive day in the Asian Games 2026 so far on Saturday (September 26) as they won seven medals, which included two gold medals. Both
top-of-the-podium finishes came in Kabaddi, as both the Men's and women's teams defended their title after beating Iran in their respective finals. Meanwhile, there were three medals in Athletics and one each in Shooting and squash. Moreover, both Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh secured their spot in the gold medal clash in the Women's and Men's singles in squash, as both will aim to become the first-ever Indians to win a gold medal in shooting as well as seal a place in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
