Seattle Sounders FC registered a 3-0 win over Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the final of Leagues Cup 2025 at Lumen Field in Seattle on September 1. However, things took a drastic turn after the match as players
from both the teams got involved in an ugly fight. The things went so out of hand that Miami striker Luiz Suarez was seen spitting on one of the members from the coaching staff of Seattle Sounders.
In a viral video after the Leagues Cup final, Luiz Suarez can be seen trying to intimidate a Seattle staff member while goalkeeper Oscar Ustari was trying to stop. However, after a few seconds, Suarez spitted on the staff member making the things turn ugly. After that, other officials were seen trying to stop the Inter Miami striker.
Massive fight breaks out between players after Leagues Cup 2025 final
It turned out to be a dominating outing as they defeated Inter Miami by 3-0 to win their maiden Leagues Cup title on Sunday. However, the final was marred after the final whistle from the referee as players from both the teams got involved in a melee. All the players were seen trying to intimidate the opponent team players while some players also tried to hit each other as it can be clearly seen in a viral video.
Talking about the match, it was Osaze De Rosario who scored the first goal for Seattle in the 26th minute. After that, Alex Roldan showed his brilliance in the 84th minute scoring an epic goal and an assist. In the 89th minute Paul Rothrock scored the third goal for Seattle while Inter Miami were still goal-less. In the end, Seattle Sounders ended up winning the match 3-0 to iwn the Leagues Cup 2025 title.
