Virat Kohli, who flew to Vadodara a few days earlier to get some practice ahead of the opening game had this moment with a fan after the practice session. Virat Kohli is gearing up to continue his scintillating form in the 50 over format against New Zealand in the coming days. During the South Africa ODI series, Kohli scored two centuries and a half century in three matches while averaging an impressive 151.

Virat Kohli also featured in Vijay Hazare Trophy games for Delhi against Andhra and Gujarat. He scored 131 in the first match to help Delhi chase down a target of 298 against Andhra and 77 in next game against Gujarat helping Delhi get consecutive wins. He has looked in scintillating form and also completed 16,000 runs in his List A career in the last game.

Virat Kohli will next be in action on January 11 for the ODI series against New Zealand. He has been in great touch in the ODI format and he will be looking to continue his form going into 2026. After the ODI series against New Zealand, Virat Kohli will have a break until the start of Indian Premier League 2026.
