The U19 captain of the Indian National cricket team, Ayush Mhatre who was seen playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 is set for an exciting chapter ahead. The 18-year-old led the side against the England
national team in which the Indian cricket team emerged victorious in sensational fashion. He bashed two centuries consecutively against the England cricket team. Mhatre is also set to lead the U19 team in a multi-format tour against Australia which is set to commence from September 21st in Brisbane.
The young Indian sensation Ayush Mhatre has been appointed as the captain for the Mumbai cricket team in the Buchi Babu trophy. The 17-member squad of the Mumbai team also features big names like Sarfaraz Khan and his brother Musheer Khan set to create an impact in the team. The tournament will be held in Chennai from August 18 to September 9. The right-handed batsman has impressed with his captaincy till now when the chances have been presented to him. The 18-year-old will hope for the same outcome of victory under his captaincy for the Mumbai team.
