Back in 2007 during the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup, India batter Yuvraj Singh turned on his beast mode during a league match against England at Kingsmead, Durban. After his on-field altercation
with Andrew Flintoff, Yuvraj took his revenge in the next over by Stuart Broad and went on to smash six sixes on six balls of the over. With this, Yuvraj also completed his fifty in just 12 balls which was the fastest half-century at that time.
Yuvraj Singh was awarded Player of the match for his fiery knock of 58(16) runs in India’s 18-run win against England in that game. However, apart from that, he also received a brand new Porsche from Lalit Modi, founder of Indian Premier League. In his recent interview with Beyond23 Cricket Podcast with former Australia captain Michael Clarke, Modi revealed that he made a promise in the Indian Dressing room ahead of the T20 World Cup 2007.
Yuvraj raises the bat, and he comes running to me: Lalit Modi
In his podcast with Michael Clarke, Lalit Modi revealed that he visited the Indian dressing room ahead of the first-ever T20 World Cup in 2007 and made a promise that he will gift a Porsche to anyone who hits six sixes or takes six wickets in an over. And interestingly, It was Yuvraj Singh who was finally able to achieve this feat as he smashed six sixes in an over in a group stage match against England.

"Anybody hit six sixes or take six wickets in an over...I'll give you a Porsche from my pocket," Lalit Modi revealed in the podcast.
Speaking further, Lalit Modi also revealed that Yuvraj came running towards him after his heroics, reminding him of his promise. However, Modi came up with another condition and asked Yuvraj for his bat with which he smashed those six sixes.
"Yuvraj, looks at me on the boundary...he raises the bat, and he comes running to me, 'I want my Porsche', I said, give me the bat," the IPL Founder said.
