was accompanied by his Mumbai Indians teammate Tilak Varma.The duo visited to offer prayers and seek divine blessings ahead of their upcoming IPL 2026 match.
A large crowd of fans gathered at the historic site to catch a glimpse of the stars, causing moderate commotion as security escorted them inside the temple.Both cricketers were seen dressed in traditional Indian attire as they performed rituals and offered prayers at the historic Shakti Peeth.
The visit took place atop Nilachal Hill, where the players spent time immersed in devotion, seeking strength and success for the upcoming match following MI's recent league defeat.

MI to take on RR in Guwahati for Match 13
The Mumbai Indians (MI) take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 13 of IPL 2026 on Tuesday, at the ACA Stadium (Barsapara), Guwahati. This is a "home" game for RR, as Barsapara Cricket Stadium serves as their secondary home ground. Under the new leadership of Riyan Parag, RR is currently unbeaten with two wins in two games against CSK and GT.
Mumbai Indians have had a mixed start (1W, 1L). They are coming off a defeat to Delhi Capitals and will be happy by the return of Hardik Pandya, who missed the previous game due to illness. The match will also witness the classic statistical rivalry of Jasprit Bumrah and Shimron Hetmyer. Bumrah has dominated this rivalry, dismissing Hetmyer 6 times in just 23 balls in IPL history.
