India's T20I vice captain Shubman Gill hasn't found rhythm in the first couple of T20 Internationals against South Africa. In both the innings, Gill has departed cheaply, registering golden duck in the second
T20 International. Since then, there have been talks around his place in the playing 11. Fans have been split - a few feel that Shubman Gill should play the next T20I in Dharamshal on Sunday while others feel Sanju Samson should get a go again at the top. But the big question still remains - Will India drop Shubman Gill from Playing 11 for 3rd T20I vs South Africa?
In our eyes, the answer to it is no. Seeing how captain Suryakumar Yadav and Head Coach Gautam Gambhir select the playing 11, it is highly unlikely that they would change the combination after just 2 failures, especially when Shubman Gill is also the vice captain of the team. This means, Sanju Samson will have to wait on the sidelines for his turn, as it might take a while for him to return to India T20I setup.
Hence, for the 3rd T20I against South Africa, Suryakumar Yadav-led India team is likely to step onto the field with playing 11 as featured in the last game in New Chandigarh. The only change that we might see is Rinku Singh replacing Shivam Dube. However, there's slightest of chance for that to happen as well.
Here's India's Probable 11 vs South Africa for 3rd T20I
Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Shivam Dube/Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakarvarthy.
