Shubman Gill’s worn Team India jersey during the Lord’s Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 has got a staggering amount of £4,600 (approximately INR 5.41 Lakh), which has made it the highest-selling
product at 'Red For Ruth' charity auction In London. The Red for Ruth Day was celebrated during the second day of the third Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. The venue was turned entirely red that day. The day was dedicated to Ruth Strauss, the late wife of former England captain Andrew Strauss, who lost her life to lung cancer in December 2018.
Gill’s jersey, during the Lord’s game, got stained and remained unwashed since the contest. The authenticity attracted the buyers which eventually made the jersey the colossal sum. Jerseys of Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah also got sold out for £4,000 (INR 4.70 Lakh). Rishabh Pant’s signed cap got sold for around £1,500 (INR 1.75 Lakh) while England legend Joe Root’s jersey fetched £3,800 (INR 4.47 Lakh).
