India are taking on Pakistan for the second time in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. Both the teams are currently locking horns in the Super 4s clash at Dubai International Stadium where India won the toss and
asked Pakistan to bat first. However, it hasn’t been a good outing for the Indian fielding unit as the Men in Blue dropped three easy catches in the match so far.
In the first over of the match, Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan attempted to hit Hardik Pandya over mid-on but couldn’t time it well as Abhishek Sharma was in the position to take a comfortable catch. However, the young India batter realised later that he had to lean forward to complete the catch and missed an easy chance to take a wicket.
Kuldeep Yadav dropped a sitter against Saim Ayub
After a blunder by Abhishek Sharma, Hardik Pandya and the Indian team didn’t have to wait much to get their first wicket as the right-arm pacer in the third over dismissed Fakhar Zaman. However, in the fifth over, Varun Chakaravarthy gave India another chance to dismiss Saim Ayub but it was Kuldeep Yadav who made a blunder this time. Saim Ayub tried to hit a sweep shot against Varun but found the edge of his bat. After that, Kuldeep was in a comfortable position to take an easy catch at short fine leg but still missed it.
This didn't end here as Abhishek Sharma failled to grab a catch again to dismiss Sahibzada Farhan. In the eighth over, Farhan smahes a big shot agaist Varun Chakaravarthy which went near the boundary line. After that, Abhishek came to take a running catch but failed to grab the ball as it landed outside the rope for a six.
