Harry Kane, 32-year-old English international, has proved to be an outstanding signing for the Bundesliga defending champions Bayern Munich. The centre-forward has broken his trophyless curse with the German
team and has played an integral role in the project of Bayern’s manager Vincent Kompany. Since the time he joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham, the experienced striker has crossed the tally of 100 goals in just 104 games.
He has now surpassed the record of Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland to become the fastest player to score hundred goals for a single club in Europe, which is also a club and European top five leagues record. Amidst his amazing goal-scoring form for Bayern Munich, there are a lot of speculations from fans regarding his return to the Premier League. According to recent reports, his former team Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United who will be eager to sign an experienced striker for the next season, have emerged as the favourites if he was to make a return in England.
Bayern is the best place to win trophies, absolutely: Harry Kane
However, quashing all the recent rumours on his Premier League return, Harry Kane made a statement in which he said, “No, I’m not thinking about a Premier League return at the moment. I'm really happy here.” The 32-year-old further added, “I have two years left on my contract. I'm enjoying every moment. Bayern is the best place to win trophies, absolutely”. This implies that Harry Kane has no intentions of leaving Bayern any sooner.
When asked about Harry Kane’s future, Bayern’s Sporting Director, Max Eberl stated, “He's old enough to make his own decisions. Whether there is a clause or no clause, it's down to him. If he says, 'I want to make a decision', then he'll make it, as he showed at Tottenham." However, Eberl is keen on Kane continuing at the club.
