The southpaw could score only 17 off 15.

India’s batting attack outclassed Pakistan
Chasing the total, India saw the attacking approach from their opener Abhishek Sharma, who looked ruthless against Shaheee. In the speedster’s initial two overs, the left-handed opener scored four boundaries. However, Shubman Gill couldn’t produce an effective knock as he departed after scoring only 10 off seven. Saim Ayub got Gill stumped.
Abhishek also lost his wicket against Ayub while attacking the off-spinner. Skipper Suryakumar and Tilak Varma stitched a 56-run stand off 52 balls and took the team close to the target. In the 13th over, Tilak got cleaned up by Ayub and concluded his innings after scoring a run-a-ball 31. Suryakumar stood at the crease until the end and took India home by seven wickets in hand and 25 balls to spare. The India captain smashed an unbeaten 47 off 37. With this win, India have become the first team to qualify for the Super 4 round of the tournament.
