Indian batter Sai Sudharsan was having a bite of the banana outside the boundary line as the fans spotted him and made a special request during day four of the second Test between India and West Indies
at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. During the day’s play, Sudharsan was seen relaxing during the break and the fan made a hilarious comment requesting him to leave his IPL franchise Gujarat Titans and join Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2026.
Sai Sudharsan has been a part of Gujarat Titans since hisIPLdebut in 2022 and went on to become a crucial member of the franchise. He also finished as the leading run scorer in IPL 2025 amassing 759 runs from 15 matches at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.17. However, during the second India versus West Indies Test, a fan spotted Sudharsan outside the boundary line and requested the Chennai-born cricketer to leave GT and join CSK in the cash-rich league. "Gujarat se nikal jaao, CSK mein zarurat hai. (Please get out from Gujarat, we need you in CSK.)” the fan was quoted as saying in a viral video.
Shai Hope and John Campbell put West Indies back in the game as visitors set a target of 121 runs for India
Talking about the Test match between India and West Indies, the visitors showed a great fight in the second innings after India enforced follow-on with a massive lead of 270 runs in the first innings. Firstly, Shai Hope and John Campbell put up a partnership of 177 runs for the third wicket as West Indies finally took a lead and India needed to bat in the fourth innings after enforcing follow-on. Campbell scored 115(199) runs while Hope contributed with the score of 103(214) runs.
After that, Justin Greaves and Jayden Seales added 79 runs for the final wicket as West Indies were bowled out for 390 runs giving India a target of 121 runs to win. Greaves scored a fighting 50*(85) runs while Seales contributed with 32(67) runs. For India, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets each, Mohammed Siraj took two, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja scalped a wicket each. By the end of day four, India scored 63 runs for the loss of one wicket and need 53 runs on the final day to win the series by 2-0.
