Bayern Munich competed against the third-tier German side Wehen Wiesbaden to progress through to the next round of DFB Pokal. The English striker Harry Kane came in clutch for Bayern Munich as he climbed
highest inside the box to score an accurate header into the back of the net to help Bayern rise back from their ruins.
That last minute winner helped Bayern Munich to prevent embarrassment and find a way to win the match after losing a 2 goal lead in the match. The defending champions of Bundesliga were robbed of a penalty in the start of the game as one of the Wiesbaden players illegally handled the ball inside the box. However, the referee completely ignored the appeals from Bayern and continued with the game. The 90+4 goal was Harry Kane’s second goal in the match as he was also the one to open the scoring for Bayern in the 16th minute of the game through a composed penalty in the bottom right corner.

The ice-cold winger from Bayern Munich, Michael Olise was brought down inside the penalty box as he was trying to get on the receiving end of the cross from Raphael Guerreiro. Kane stepped in and comfortably dispatched the ball into the net to make it 1-0 for Bayern Munich. Bayern increased their lead in the match through Michael Olise’s tap-into the near post at the start of the second half.
Wehen Wiesbaden did not give up despite Bayern Munich’s strong start and continued to create their chances in the opposition box. They found their way back into the match through their 25-year-old forward, Fatih Kaya who single-handedly scored a brace to make it level for the third division side. Despite their valiant efforts, it was Bayern who progressed through to the next round thanks to Harry Kane’s last-minute heroics despite missing a penalty.
