What is the story about?
Tensions were visibly high between Yashasvi and Asitha Fernando after being involved in an animated exchange during the morning session of day one of the India vs Sri Lanka test in Colombo.
The incident took place on the final delivery of the 17th over. Asitha delivered a spectacular length ball round the wicket, and Jaiswal tried to hit it towards the off-side but got a massive inside edge.
But the ball struck the stumps, dismissing the Indian opener just five runs short of his half-century.
Following Jaiswal's dismissal, Asitha gave him a loud send-off in the heat of the moment, and the Indian opener did not take the gesture kindly. He turned back to confront the Sri Lankan bowler, and there was almost some body contact between the two cricketers, and they exchanged words before captain Dhananjay de Silva intervened to calm things down.
