Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the latter's home ground - BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium - on Sunday, April 12.
Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans started with a couple of defeats, but they would hope that the hard-earned one-run win against the Delhi Capitals would serve as the doorway to a resurgence. Ahead of the win against Delhi, the Titans suffered defeats at the hands of the Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
On the other hand, the Lucknow Super Giants lost
their campaign opener to the Delhi Capitals, but bounced back in style with thrilling wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. They will hope to stretch their winning streak to three on Sunday.
Here is GT’s strongest predicted XI vs LSG, Match 19, IPL 2026:
Top Order: Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (WK)
Shubman Gill has already scored 109 runs in two games at an average of 54.50 and a strike rate of 151.39. His opening partner, Sai Sudharsan, has struck at 158.07, with one fifty from three games. Jos Buttler played a blinder of a knock in the last game, which proved to be decisive in beating the Delhi Capitals.
Middle Order: Washington Sundar, Glenn Phillips, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Shahrukh Khan
Washington Sundar has finally been getting some consistent game time, and in the last game, he delivered with the bat with a 32-ball 55. However, he hasn't been used too much with the ball. Glenn Phillips has shown glimpses of his talent, but his best is yet to come. Rahul Tewatia will want a few runs under his belt in the coming games. He is playing as a specialist batter these days. Rashid Khan has struggled with the ball in the last couple of seasons in the IPL, but this time he has started promisingly. Shahrukh Khan is expected to come in as the Impact Player if Gujarat bat second. He is another batter in the Gujarat side who would want to get among the runs.
Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada, Ashok Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna (IMP)
Kagiso Rabada has picked up three wickets in three games and has been on the expensive side, bowling with an economy rate of 9.82. Ashok Sharma has bowled at great speeds but will want to work on his control. Mohammed Siraj has had his problems bowling at the death, but Gujarat would hope that he makes the new ball count with his ability to swing it both ways. Prasidh Krishna, the Purple Cap winner from last season, has taken six wickets in three games but given runs at an economy rate of 10.33.

Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill (C), Jos Buttler (WK), Washington Sundar, Glenn Phillips, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Ashok Sharma.
