The latest development has suggested that senior batter Virat Kohli will not be playing for Delhi in their ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 campaign's upcoming clash against Railways. This match will be the sixth
round of the competition and is slated to be held on Tuesday, January 6 at the KSCA Three Ovals Ground 2 in Alur.
The Delhi & District Cricket Association President Rohan Jaitley had previously confirmed that the star batter will be seen donning the Delhi jersey for this clash. However, the latest update is that the 37-year-old will not be available. The exact reason is unknown, but it can be assumed that the cricketer will soon be joining the Indian team for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand, forcing him to be unavailable.
