The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Annual Player Contracts for the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s Indian teams for the 2025-26 season, which runs from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
A total of 30 men cricketers and 21 women cricketers have been included in the annual retainership list. Indian veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been downgraded from Grade A+ to Grade B, as both players are currently active in only one format, ODIs, for the Men in Blue.
Meanwhile, Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have been placed in Grade A. From the Indian women’s team, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Deepti Sharma have been placed in Grade A.
