The West Indies commence their 2026 home season with a One Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka starting from Wednesday, June 3. All three matches of this 50-over series are set to be played at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Windies last competed in international cricket at the 2026 T20 World Cup, while their previous ODI game took place all the way back in November 2025, when they travelled to New Zealand and lost the series 3-0. The Caribbean outfit need some positive results
in this format to help them get back into the race for automatic qualification for the 2027 Cricket World Cup.
Earlier this year, Sri Lanka played a three-match ODI series on home soil against England, where they suffered a 2-1 loss. The 1996 World Cup winners have arrived on the Caribbean shores for an all-format tour where they will compete in three ODIs and T20Is, along with two Test matches.
