Vancouver is all set to host the Canada Super 60, the country’s first professional T10 league, which kicks off on October 8, 2025, at the iconic BC Place Stadium. For the first time, the tournament will
feature both men’s and women’s competitions.
Among the biggest attractions this season are some of India’s most celebrated cricketers. Joining them are global icons like Shakib Al Hasan, Quinton de Kock, Jason Roy, Moeen Ali, and Imran Tahir, who will represent six franchises. Backed by Cricket Canada and Global Ambassador Yuvraj Singh, the Canada Super 60 is set to boost the cricketing culture of the country.

4. Rishi Dhawan
All-rounder Rishi Dhawan has joined the Whiterock Warriors for the Canada Super 60 League. The 34-year-old, who recently announced his retirement from Indian limited-overs cricket, is all set to display his skills in this innovative format. Dhawan’s cricketing career witnessed him leading Himachal Pradesh to their maiden Vijay Hazare Trophy title in 2021-22, and he has been a main player of domestic cricket. The veteran has over 4900 first-class runs and 355 wickets to his name. Notably, he represented India in three ODIs and one T20I in 2016 and played in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.

I really look forward to contributing as an all-rounder and sharing my experience. I hope to help the team achieve success and make the fans proud, Dhawan told.
3. Piyush Chawla
Veteran Indian spinner Piyush Chawla has been added to Brampton Blitz's squad for Canada Super 60. Having retired from professional cricket earlier this year, Chawla has played for over two decades. Throughout his career, he featured in three Tests, 25 ODIs, and seven T20Is for India, and was part of both the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squads. At the domestic level, he picked up 446 first-class wickets and is one of the most consistent spinners in Indian cricket history. In the IPL, he played 192 matches for franchises like KKR, CSK, PBKS, and MI, taking 192 wickets.
“I am really excited and looking forward to coming to Vancouver and playing at BC Place. The Super 60 format is one of its kind. If you want to enjoy the game and feel the energy on the field, see you all there,” Chawla said.
2. Suresh Raina
Former India batter and ICC World Cup winner Suresh Raina is set to join Toronto Sixers in the Canada Super 60. The T10-format tournament is another league that the former will feature in after announcing his retirement. Raina opened up about joining the league, calling it a special experience to play in the inaugural edition. Notably, Raina is out of touch in the WCL 2025 while playing for the India champions. However, his experience is expected to help the Sixers in their campaign.
“I’m really excited to be part of the Canada Super 60. Since this is the inaugural edition, it already feels special and promises to be a top-class tournament. The Toronto Sixers have a well-balanced squad with some big international names, as well as Canadian Talent and I’m looking forward to playing alongside them and contributing to the team’s success," he said.
1. Shikhar Dhawan
Legendary Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan will play for the WhiteRock Warriors. Dhawan, who announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket last year, scored over 10,000 international runs in his 12-year-long career. However, following his retirement, he has featured in various leagues, including, World Championship of Legends and Nepal Premier League. The southpaw expressed his happiness at joining the Warriors.

It’s thrilling to see cricket expanding its horizons, and Canada Super 60 offers a unique format with immense potential. I look forward to delivering entertaining performances and being part of this exciting journey," he said.
