All five Women's Premier League franchises have finalised their retention lists ahead of the WPL 2027 auction, which is scheduled for October 28 at Kochi's Grand Hyatt. The new season is set to begin on January 14, and the retention window has brought a mixture of continuity and reshuffling across the competition.
The lists show franchises opting to preserve established cores while making room for fresh additions at the auction ahead of the fifth season of the marquee women's T20 tournament. Several
prominent international and Indian players have found themselves outside their previous squads as a result of the process.
