Cricket Australia has made changes to its 13-member squad for the upcoming tour match against England Lions at the Lilac Hill Park in Perth. The game is set to get underway on Friday, November 21 — the same
day as the first Test of the Ashes 2025-26 as well. The hosts have added wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis to the squad, while another change has been made as Aidan O'Connor has also been replaced.
The side will be played Mackenzie Harvey while international stars like Jake Fraser-McGurk and Jhye Richardson apart from Inglis find a spot in the 13-man set-up. Since it is going to be a tour game and not counted as an official First-Class match, all players from the squad will be allowed to take part in the match, and there will be no Playing XI announced.
"Wicket-keeper batter Josh Inglis has been added to the CA XI squad for the upcoming four-day match against the England Lions at Lilac Hill. Additionally, Caelan Maladay replaces Aidan O’Connor in the squad named last week. All thirteen players will be allowed to play in the match," Cricket Australia said in its release on Thursday, November 20.
