Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly was snapped up by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for INR 3 crore. The 22-year-old is a promising talent who offers versatility with both bat and ball. A left-handed batter, Connolly can provide stability in the middle order and is also capable of finishing innings when required. Additionally, his left-arm spin makes him a valuable option in Indian conditions, where spin often plays a key role.

Connolly has been a consistent performer for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL), scoring 636 runs and picking up 12 wickets so far.
