The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) return to the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday, April 12, when they take on the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 19 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
After losing their opening game at home, LSG have won two consecutive away games against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders to find themselves fifth in the points table.
GT, on the other hand, secured their maiden win of the 2026 season when they narrowly beat the Delhi
Capitals in the capital city. The 2022 champions continue their tour of North India when they face an in-form LSG side in Lucknow on Sunday.

LSG vs GT: Strategies and Match-ups
One common strength between LSG and GT is that both sides heavily rely on their top order to score a bulk of their runs. The Gujarat-based side, however, does have a strong bowling unit, consisting of the likes of Rashid Khan, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna. The Super Giants, meanwhile, have an inexperienced bowling department, but have performed well in recent games.
