India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has earned widespread praise from netizens across social media for his post-match interaction with a cameraman after the conclusion of the fifth T20I of the series against South Africa. Hardik's first six off his first ball of the innings in Ahmedabad was a flat one towards long-off which thudded against the on-duty cameraman's left shoulder.
The eventual Player of the Match went over to the cameraman to not only apply the icepack on the part which had received prior
treatment from the Indian physio Kamlesh Jain, but giving him a warm embrace too. The cameraman could be spotted exhibiting a wide beaming smile after all his brief exchange with the 32-year-old.

Hardik was the star of the night off his all-round showing, but mainly for his ferocious batting. He contributed a whopping 63 off just 25 in a whirlwind knock which comprised five fours and as many sixes. Hardik was the aggressor while batting along with Tilak Varma. The pair added 105 for the fourth wicket in a little over seven overs, as the Choryasi-born did the bulk of the scoring. The two were crucial in making the Men in Blue post 231/5 in the first innings.
India ended up winning the match by 30 runs after restricting the Proteas to 201/8 in their quota. Although Hardik was expensive with the ball, he picked up the critical wicket of Dewald Brevis. Varun Chakravarthy, who ended the series with 10 wickets, secured a four-wicket haul. Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the lot. He conceded only 17 runs in his four-over spell, which also included a couple of wickets. India ended up winning the series with a 3-1 margin.
