The Asia Cup 2025 concluded almost a month ago, yet the victorious Indian team is still waiting to receive the trophy. India defeated Pakistan in the final on Sunday, September 28, in Dubai, but the silverware has not been officially handed over as yet. As days pass, new developments continue to emerge regarding its whereabouts.
According to recent reports, the trophy was moved from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) office and locked away in an abandoned location in Abu Dhabi by ACC Chairman Mohsin
Naqvi. The revelation has sparked fresh controversy, leaving the trophy’s handover to India uncertain.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly in constant communication with the ACC, working to recover the trophy and ensure it is rightfully presented to the Indian team.
