India’s young pacer Harshit Ranais making headlines off the field as, after he shared a series of photos posing inside his brand-new Lamborghini on Instagram just few days before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Ahead of the multi-national event co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the Delhi pacer was seen enjoying his time-off before joining the squad on February 3 in Mumbai.
The 24-year-old fast bowler posted the pictures, showing him in a relaxed mood, giving fans a glimpse of his life outside cricket.

Harshit Rana, who made his T20I debut in January 2025, has been an integral part of India’s white-ball setup across formats and is named in the 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup on home soil. This tournament represents a massive opportunity for the Delhi-born quick to cement his place in the national team and contribute to India’s title defence.
Having made his debut in 2024, he has shown flashes of genuine pace and wicket-taking ability despite facing heavy trolling on social media.

Meanwhile, former wicketkeeper Parthiv Patelsurprised everyone as he left out Harshit from his starting India XI for the upcoming World Cup. He stated that he would like to start with Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.
"My playing XI for the first game will be Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma at No. 3 and No. 4, then Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh and Axar Patel," the former India wicketkeeper-batter said on Star Sports.
"Then Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy. That will be my playing XI. I would like to include both Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah," he concluded.
India is slated to take on the USA on February 7, at the Wankhede Stadium, in their opening encounter.
