Gujarat Titans (GT) continued their impressive run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 with a dominant 82-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
in Match 56 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 12.
After being asked to bat first, GT posted a competitive total of 168/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan top-scored with a classy 61 off 44 deliveries, while Washington Sundar provided the late flourish with an unbeaten 50 off 33 balls. Nishant Sindhu also chipped in with a quickfire 22, helping the hosts recover after a shaky start. For SRH, Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain picked up two wickets each, while Pat Cummins chipped in with one scalp.
In response, SRH suffered a dramatic batting collapse and were bundled out for just 86 in 14.5 overs.
