Unbeaten sides Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will lock horns in Match 16 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Barsapara
Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Friday, April 10.
RR play their second consecutive game in Guwahati, having previously beaten the Mumbai Indians by 27 runs in a rain-affected game. The hosts put 150 on the board in an 11-over game, thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal’s unbeaten 77 and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s 39. Meanwhile, Nandre Burger, Sandeep Sharma and Ravi Bishnoi all took two wickets each to restrict the five-time champions to just 123.
RCB, on the other hand, are set to play their first away game of the 2026 season. The defending champions got the better of the Chennai Super Kings by 43 runs in their previous fixture. Tim David stole the show on that occasion, scoring 70 not out of just 25 balls after hitting three fours and eight sixes.
