In a high-scoring encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, Punjab Kings scripted history as they chased down the target of 265 runs against Delhi Capitals
in match 35 in IPL 2026.

After that, it was all Shreyas Iyer show at Delhi, as the PBKS skipper smashed an unbeaten 71 runs off 35 balls to win the match.

After a little collapse in the middle-overs, the Punjab skipper Shreyas Iyertook the responsibility of this chase. Coming in to bat at number four, the Mumbai batter took his side over the line, making this the highest successful chase ever in IPL history. He remained not out on 71.
